We invite area artists to help celebrate Glover Day, Saturday July 25th. The Town of Glover is hosting an art show in the Glover Town Hall from 9 am to 3 pm on Glover Day and continuing on Sunday July 26th from 11 am to 2 pm. Artists may bring one or two pieces of their art to be included in the exhibit. The work can be for sale, with the artist handling the sale. There will be no commission charged. The work must stay displayed until 2 pm on Sunday July 26th.
If you would like to be part of this show, please send email to gloverdayvt@gmail.com with a brief description including the size of your work that you will bring. All work must have a hanging system. There will be no commission charged, but all sales will be handled directly between the artist and the buyer. Your contact information will be available.
We will start hanging the show at 10:00 on Friday July 24th.
Please fill out the form below and attach it to your work on the back. Deliver the work to the Glover Town Hall on Thursday July 23rd between 9:00 am and noon. Someone will be there to receive your art. We will have extra blank forms at that time if you have not filled one out beforehand.
Your work can be picked up at 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, July 26th. If you are unable to come then, contact Theresa Perron, theresa@townofglover.com or 802-525-7199, to make arrangements to pick up your work at another time.
We hope that this first ever art show will continue the tradition of quilts displayed at the town meetings, and that it will add to the enjoyment of Glover Day festivities.
